Terrence Howard Demands Ex-Wife Stop Reaching For His ‘Empire’ Bag

As Terrence Howard and his ex-wife Michelle Ghent try to settle his $1.3 million spousal support debt, the ‘Empire‘ star is now trying to prevent her seizing any his checks from the Fox show.

Per The Blast, 20th Century Fox filed legal documents against Howard, Ghent, Howard’s company Universal Bridges, and several law firms, claiming they owe $25,000 to the actor for his role on the Lee Daniels show, plus additional monies foreseen in the future; but, are unsure of who the correct recipient is.

Additionally, back in August 2019, a Los Angeles judge ordered Howard to pay his ex-wife the $1.3M; a breakdown shows $263,000 was owed in back support, and another $1.05M “due to his increase in income since the divorce settlement.”

Furthermore, prior to his increased success since the settlement, Howard had only been paid $120,000 an episode, but later rose to over $250,000.

The publication notes that the two have been battling this nasty divorce case since 2013, and while Ghent is steadfast at collecting her $1.3M, Howard is equally persistent in trying to deny and stop her from seizing his profits.
