According to the Metro U.K., TikTok user UghHenry posted the footage on Saturday morning with the caption: “Something traumatic happened that changed my life”. In the clip, two teenage girls are seen climbing down the rocky waterfront to check out a black suitcase they spotted at the water’s edge. “We were joking that maybe the suitcase would have money,” the text read over the video. “Wait, open it… it stinks ya’ll,” the boy yells out as one of the girls opens the top of the suitcase with a stick revealing a black plastic bag. “Okay so she’s calling the police so we can see if it’s actually a dead body or it’s just food,” he said.

After opening the bag, a second girl can be seen calling the police before it jumps to a clip of emergency services arriving at the scene on the 1100 block of Alki Avenue. The teens say they made the discovery while using the Randonautica app as part of the popular #RandonautChallenge on TikTok.

According to The Daily Mail citing Wired, the app encourages people to explore areas around them by using a random number generator to come up with a set of coordinates. Their viral video has been viewed more than 15,900,000 times on TikTok and has 3,400,000 likes from other users.

Seattle Police confirmed they responded to a call about a suspicious bag found on a beach in the West Seattle area on Friday afternoon.
A second bag was later located in the water.
