According to the New York Post, 17-year-old Damon Parker Terrelle was arrested and charged Saturday for the deadly shooting on Sept.27. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the teen shot 29-year-old Douglas Reese after accusing him of cutting the line outside the Erebus Haunted House in Pontiac, Michigan. Prior to the shooting, Terelle did not have a criminal record.

“The victim and the suspect exchanged words as the suspect thought the victim had cut in line ahead of him. The suspect and victim went separately to the parking lot.”

Terrelle was arraigned on Saturday afternoon for charges including first-degree murder, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and carrying a concealed weapon.
