Soulja Boy Says He The “First Rapper” To Actually Pay Kids Selling Candy
One thing about Soulja Boy, he’s going to try to be the first to do something! The rapper recently shared a moment to his Instagram Story showing him giving out money to teens selling candy.
In the clip, Soulja first gives one teen $200 and even lets him keep his entire candy box to make more money. The boy thanked Soulja who responded to him saying, “on God, I don’t even want no candy.” After leaving Nordstrom, Soulja blessed another teen with a bunch of cash and also let him keep his entire candy box as well.
This all comes shortly after rapper DaBaby made headlines after he refused to give two teens $200 for their candy box. The rapper explained to Complex News that he was simply trying to teach them an important lesson: “Absolutely, that’s exactly what happened,” said the Rap star. “Anytime I buy something from somebody else in there I buy the whole thing. Especially when it’s kids. I give them the opportunity, just make it make sense why you want $200 for this. You tell me, ‘Man, I usually charge somebody this for the whole box. I’m just gon’ charge you $2 all the way down.’ I’da looked at him, gave him a thousand dollars.”
