Social media is dragging “obsessed” Piers Morgan through the virtual mud after many people think he’s gone too far with the latest Meghan Markle mockery.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex announced that her first children’s book, The Bench. Her new work which is set to be published June 8, explores the bond between fathers and sons as seen through a mother’s eyes. While many people had good things to say about her latest move, of course, Morgan did not. In his MailOnline column, Morgan lashed out at Meghan and accused her of acting hypocritically in writing the book given her difficult relationship with her own father. “Lest we forget,” he wrote, “Ms. Markle has ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas and refuses to have anything to do with him despite the fact they now live just 70 miles from each other. She is also reported to have disowned every other Markle, none of whom were invited to her wedding. This doesn’t seem like someone overly keen to operate ‘an inclusive lens’ to me. In fact, it seems a singularly EX-clusive lens.”

He took his trolling up a notch by posting a meme about Meghan eyeing up a newly single Bill Gates in the wake of the Microsoft billionaire’s divorce bombshell. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday morning, Piers shared an image of Meghan smiling to herself with text reading: “So Bill Gates just got divorced.” Here’s what social media had to say about his “childish” behavior:

As we previously reported, Piers Morgan has left ITV’s Good Morning Britain following a row over comments he made about the Duchess of Sussex. It brings the controversial host’s time on the show to an end after six years. ITV announced the big decision after Ofcom said it was investigating his comments after receiving 41,000 complaints. Although he’s not longer there, his comments about Markle continue and he’s doesn’t look like he will ease up anytime soon.

Piers Morgan is coming for Gayle King: The ex “Good Morning Britain” host took to Twitter on Wednesday to slam the CBS host for acting as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “PR mouthpiece” after she talked about the couple’s latest problems with the royal family.

“Hi @GayleKing — rather than acting as your Sussex friends’ PR mouthpiece to facilitate their ongoing public trashing of our Royal Family, how about doing your job as a journalist and ask them about all the lies they told in @Oprah’s interview?” Morgan tweeted. He then insisted, “America should hear THE truth.”

To keep you up to speed, Gayle, 66, recently shared on “CBS This Morning,” that she had a call with pals Harry and Meghan, revealing that Harry’s first chats with his dad, Charles, and brother, William, after the tell-all were “not productive.” She also said that “No one in the royal family has talked to Meghan yet.” That same Wednesday, Gayle took to her SiriusXM show and shared that the couple would have postponed the airing of their big Oprah interview had Harry’s then-ailing 99-year-old grandfather, Prince Philip, died.

Just days after it was reported that Piers Morgan quit “Good Morning Britain,” the former anchor is now revealing he actually lost his job for not apologizing to Meghan Markle.

As we previously reported, Morgan stormed out of Tuesday’s show after attracting widespread criticism over comments he made about Markle following her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. Morgan argued that he “didn’t believe a word” she said about having suicidal thoughts during her time as a senior royal.

Morgan decided to speak out again in an Instagram post to address his leave and to talk about cancel culture: “I’ve lost my job at Good Morning Britain because I chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey,” he wrote. “I thus became the latest ‘victim’ of the cancel culture that is permeating our country, every minute, of every hour, of everyday.” He added that he did not actually agree with such a claim, writing: “Of course, I consider myself to be neither a victim, nor actually cancelled.”

Before concluding, the 55-year-old highlighted the importance of freedom of speech, saying it the most “important issue” of his career and British society: “As I said when I left GMB, the right to free speech is a hill worth dying on,” he ended his note. “…This is not simply an act of defiance, but a commitment to our collective futures.”

Meghan Markle Reportedly Filed ITV Complaint Against Piers Morgan

Socialites, get into this. According to multiple reports, Meghan Markle filed a formal complaint against TV personality Piers Morgan for his comments on the “Good Morning Britain” show, which he used to host.

Meghan filed the complaint to the broadcaster’s CEO raising concerns over Morgan’s wording towards mental heath after she revealed she had suffered suicidal thoughts during her interview with Oprah. ITV’s Royal Editor Chris Ship confirmed the complaint has been registered, according to a report in the Mirror: “The Duchess of Sussex formally filed a complaint to ITV on Monday. It’s thought to have been sent to the broadcaster’s CEO. Meghan raised concerns about how Piers Morgan’s words affect the issue of mental health and what it might do to others contemplating suicide,” Ship wrote on Twitter.

Morgan, a former tabloid newspaper editor, has been a consistent critic of Markle after she “ghosted” him after she met Harry and they married in 2018. On Tuesday, Morgan stormed off the set of “Good Morning Britain” as he clashed with a fellow presenter who defended the duchess.

Morgan spoke out this morning and maintained his feelings towards Meghan Markle and her explosive interview. He tweeted: “On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.”

This Saturday morning, we received the sad news that television legend Larry King had passed away.

Fans along with several celebrities and close friends have been pouring in tributes all over social media about the King. Oprah Winfrey tweeted, “It was always a treat to sit at your table. And hear your stories. “Thank you, Larry King.” Magic Johnson added, I’ve known Larry King since I arrived in LA 42 years ago. Larry King Live changed CNN in the 80s blending entertainment with news & I loved being on the show. Larry was one of the best interviewers on TV. Always well prepared, asked intelligent questions, & always made the interviews fun, serious, & entertaining! He was the biggest Dodgers fan & if you lived in LA you could catch him at his favorite booth in Nate and Al’s or at Brooklyn Bagels which he owned. Rest In Peace my friend! 🙏🏾 Cookie and I extend our prayers to the entire King family.”

Former CNN host Piers Morgan also made a post about King but came under fire over his tribute. He tweeted: “Larry King was a hero of mine until we fell out after I replaced him at CNN & he said my show was ‘like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley.’ (He married 8 times so a mother-in-law expert) But he was a brilliant broadcaster & masterful TV interviewer,” the tweet reads. His post didn’t sit well with some of King’s fans, who immediately called out Morgan for the insensitive message.

One user said: “Instead of a simple RIP, Piers Morgan makes Larry King’s demise all about himself. Rest in peace legend Larry King!” Another added, “Of all the things Piers Morgan could have said to tribute Larry King, THIS is what his dried up muffin shaped faced ass decided to type up.”
