Successful Youtube Couple Breaks Down How Their Past Landed Them Behind Bars
A successful YouTube couple is finally setting the record straight on what happened in their past that currently has them splitting time in jail.
Billy Altidor received two years, and Evanie, received one year and a day for conspiracy to commit theft of government funds. They also paid 94,000 in restitution.
Evanie, 22, and Billy, 23 at the time reveal that they had no money when the alleged crime was committed. They were parents living on their own, with no guidance or knowledge of what they were doing. Now, they are a successful YouTube couple but must pay for their past mistakes.
“We didn’t scam elderly people out of their money we scammed the government. To me scamming people means tricking them into giving me information and then using that info to steal from them, but it wasn’t like that. The morals of it all wasn’t clear because we knew the government had it.”
“We worked as an Uber driver, security, baker, and still went broke a few times but never went back to scamming. That really goes to show how serious we were about doing good. We started YouTube two years after our crimes and became successful three years later.”
Once they became popular and started to earn legitimate money from their Youtube mone, they purchase a luxury vehicle, but that flagged the authorities and the judge gave them jail time for the past mistakes.
“I don’t regret anything tho because it’s apart of who I am. It’s so hard to give up the fast life so I commend Billy and I for being able to walk away from it all. Payback our debt and keep it pushing with our heads high.”
Now, Billy is serving time, and Evanie is continuing to tell their story until she must go away and serve her time too.
