The Roc Lit 101’s mission is to release literature and amplify some of the biggest voices in the industry. In 2021, these future releases will include a memoir by Yo Gotti and Fat Joe, a fantasy book series by Lil Uzi, and a criminal justice reform book by Meek Mill. The new publishing partnership will also launch cooking books to children’s books.
Executive Vice President Jana Fleishman said in a statement that the goal is “the imprint is to create books that draw from the best of pop culture— its most imaginative and talented storytellers, innovators, and literary chroniclers — to create beautifully written and produced works that will entertain and enthrall readers, but also illuminate critical issues,”
