Seems like some of the strippers who were present for Ja Morant’s first gun flashing incident are excited the NBA ball player has been suspended from the Memphis Grizzlies.

One stripper who was at the Denver night club when Morant first pulled out a gun on Instagram live did a interview with The New York Post and said, “I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon. He’s a boy,” the woman said. “He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller,” she said. “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.”

As we previously reported, Morant issued a public apology for his actions earlier this week. “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me. This is a journey, and I recognize there is more work to do,” Morant said in the statement. “My words may not mean much right now, but I take full responsibility for my actions. I’m committed tocontinuing to work on myself.” He continued.

In an interview with ESPN this week, NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that he was “shocked” by the Morant incident and labeled his conduct as “irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous.”

“He has an incredibly huge following, and [we discussed] my concern — and I thought he shared with me — that millions, if not tens of millions, of kids globally would have seen him do something that was celebrating in a way that act of using a firearm in that fashion,” Silver said regarding Morant’s first suspension following his initial Instagram Live incident in March. Silver suspended Morant for eight games after his first incident when he was on social media holding up a handgun while at a Denver-area club.

After doing this for second time, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the NBA all star starts to lose a lot of endorsements. TMZ also reported how sports fans have noticed that Morant’s Hunger Ja 1 sneakers are no longer listed on the Nike or Finish Line apps. The Hunger Ja 1s were expected to release on May 25, TMZ noted.
