Now you know Stephen A. smith doesn’t shy away from any questions. While speaking at Semafor Media Summit with Fox News, Smith spoke on whether or not he believes former President Donald Trump is a racist.

“I will tell you this, I think when people call him racist and stuff like that – I’ve never thought about Trump like that,” Smith said, via FOX News, “He’s not against Black people, he’s against all things not named Trump. There’s a difference.”

Smith also confirmed that he’s known Trump for a long time and that he’s never thought of him like that. “I knew Trump before he ran for presidency I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him. He was a huge sports fan and he used to throw a lot of events at his casinos and stuff like that. I genuinely liked him I didn’t know who this guy was running for President. I think he’s changed.”

Smith, also noted that he has conservative views and is not beyond voting for Republicans, saying he’s “beyond voting for Trump.” He said his stance is not based on Trump’s politics but on his “statesmanship,” saying the president has to be someone who wants to bring the country together, not divide it.

As we previously reported, Trump has been a trending topic in the couple of weeks after he flew from Mar-a-Lago to New York City on last Monday in preparation for his arrest. While bracing for big day, he took to social media before turning himself in this afternoon, and shared a post on his Truth social app saying, “Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems SO SURREAL – WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”
