Staffer Fired From Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Tracy Oliver Project Over Excessive Use Of N-Word
PageSix reports that a staffer has been fired from a project headed by ‘Girls Trip‘ writer Tracy Oliver and actresses Meagan Good and Grace Byers over their excessive use of the n-word.
The Amazon show, which is also backed by comedian and actress Amy Poehler and her production firm Poehler’s Paper Kites, has hit a snag after a makeup artist shot themself in the foot for allegedly using the n-word repeatedly on set — going as far as saying it in front of one of the show’s lead actresses.

While the artist’s name hasn’t been released, nor the name of the lead actress who heard the term, it’s reported that the now-fired staffer was apparently quoting rap lyrics when using the word; however, that excuse didn’t stop executives from firing them “on the spot.” #Socialites, thoughts?
Furthermore, details around the project claim the show, currently known as the “Untitled Tracy Adams Project,” is a “comedy following the lives of four black women – friends from their college days at NYU – as they navigate sex, relationships and chasing their dreams.”
