Source Awards To Return After 17-Years!

The Source awards are making a return after a 17-year hiatus.

There will also be a Source streaming channel launching, dedicated to all things Hip-Hop.

McMillian bought the magazine in 2008. It was initially started by two white Harvard rap nerds from Boston in 1988. The last award show was in 2004.

“It’s finally black-owned for the first time. He has quietly been bringing it back from financial disrepair and catapulting it into the digital age, tripling its reach and cleaning up its act,” a rep for the Source said.
