#Socialites, get a load of this! Oran Routh, the son of Donald Trump‘s alleged would-be assassin Ryan Routh, has been arrested for child pornography.
According to a criminal complaint, on Saturday (September 21) Oran Routh, the son of Donald Trump’s alleged would-be assassin Ryan Routh, was arrested in North Carolina after police searched his home and found child pornography material.
Court documents revealed that Oran was taken into custody after federal investigators claimed to have found “hundreds” of child pornography files during a search at his Guilford County, North Carolina home. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Carolina told ABC News that the search was done “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”
Essentially, the discovery of the child pornography material allegedly owned by Oran Routh, 35, was made during the unrelated investigation into his father Ryan Routh, 58, in the second alleged assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, 78.
As we’ve previously reported, Donald Trump was the target of an alleged second assassination attempt on September 15. While Trump was golfing at his International golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, Secret Service agents noticed the muzzle of an AK-47-style rifle pushing through a fence line and they opened fire, causing the suspected gunman to flee the scene.

Officials said the suspect in this incident, since identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was about 300-500 yards from Trump. Eventually, Routh was captured by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently locked up without bond awaiting his trial and is facing charges for possession of a firearm by a felon and having a gun with a shaved serial number.
After trying to defend his father Ryan Routh, claiming he hates former President Donald Trump and “is not a violent person,” Oran Alexander Routh has now been implicated in an alleged crime of his own. In his criminal complaint, investigators claim they found videos from a “known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina” stored on an SD card from a Samsung Galaxy Note in his bedroom, along with another Galaxy Note in his possession at the time of the search.
The documents further revealed other graphic descriptions of the child sex abuse videos and chats from July, which is how investigators believe Oran got ahold of the content. He is now facing two charges: receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
