Fans are used to seeing a super bubbly and turnt-up Ari Fletcher but those who tuned in to the latest episode of “The Impact” got to see a more vulnerable side of her.
After years of contemplating having a sit-down with her father, Ari finally gave her dad the time to hear him out. During the conversation, her dad explains why he wasn’t present in her life. He admitted that he thought he was doing enough by sending child support payments up until she was 18 years old. He also told Ari, “Even though I don’t see you physically, like what we doing now, I’m scrolling through Instagram and then I see a picture of you and then I’m like ‘Oh okay she’s doing alright.’” From there, Ari tried her best to explain why he still needed to be active. But at one point she realized she couldn’t get through to him and got up and left the dinner table in tears.
Fans who caught the scene quickly took to social media to send Ari a positive message. One said, “I commend you, when you’ve always had to be tough this level of vulnerability and the strength it takes is scary. This was hard to watch but it makes it easy to understand you, I wish you continued healing 🫶🏾 you’re doing amazing! His loss.” Ari responded, “Thank you so much ❤️” Another said, “I feel for Ari. As a father, you protect and love your kids. He walked in that restaurant and said ‘wassup’ no hug no kiss nothing and too make the excuse of having to pay child support on 3 kids that HE made 🤦🏽♀️” A third said, “This episode of the Impact when Ari is crying out for her father’s love just made me sad for her.”
