Fashion designers are always looking to start a new trend and it looks like Harikrishnan has decided to take on the challenge!

The emerging menswear designer recently dropped an interesting collection during his graduate show at London College of Fashion. In pictures that have since gone viral on the internet show his models wearing inflatable latex trousers of balloon-like proportions down the runway, and almost instantly the pics became new memes. Some folks compared the trousers to testicles while others have already given them a new name; the “ballbottoms.” Harikrishnan is well aware of the jokes and is not bothered by them at all.
In fact, he even laughed at some of them while sharing what made him want to make these interesting pieces that has now grabbed everyone’s attention.
“We see the same things again and again through social media, so I wanted to invite them to question why this is by creating a new ‘unfamiliar’ visual,” Vogue quotes. He went on to explain, ”Insiders, those in fashion, those who do art and cultural studies, they don’t see that,” he said. “Their eyes are trained to see it in an artistic way. For outsiders, that’s not in my hands. That’s the relationship between the designer and the common man. You condition your eyes to see in a different way,” The Daily Beast quotes.
