Social Media Reacts To Dallas Business Owner Confronting Black Customers For Twerking In Restaurant
Whew! Dallas Restaurant “True Kitchen and Kocktails” is currently trending on Twitter and it’s not because of their good food or great service. Instead, it’s because the owner was filmed confronting a group of black women for twerking in his establishment!
The video posted by Twitter user @DJGreenVillain depicts a person who looks a whole lot like True Kitchen owner Kevin Kelley, Eater notes. He can be seen in the middle of his restaurant going off on a group who was just in the middle of gyrating at their table. He said he spent a lot of money in developing his restaurant to be a nice place where Black people can go. He then said, “All this twerking sh*t, don’t bring it here because we’re a restaurant. If you wanna do it, get the f*ck out my restaurant. Don’t do it again. I don’t want to hear it if you don’t like it, get out because I don’t need your money.”

The video which has now gone viral drew in a lot of mixed reactions, with some agreeing with the way he handled the situation while others were against how he confronted his customers. Here’s how social media users reacted:
