Social Media Reacts After Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Experience Outages
Facebook, Instagram and WhatApp are down once again.
Around 11am EST this Monday morning, thousands of complaints regarding the Facebook-owned apps were reported, according to DownDetector — a website that shares user-reported issues on websites and other platforms. The largest issue appeared to be centered on Instagram with more than 67,000 people reporting problems with the app at one point.
Facebook released a statement but did not share what’s causing this major problems: “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
