Singer Halsey Apologizes For Posting An Instagram Photo Of Her Eating Disorder
Halsey is one of many celebrities who have decided to take on the new photo challenge, but she’s facing criticism over it!

While answering fans who challenged her to post a picture “at your lowest moment,” the singer shared her past struggle with an eating disorder. Halsey posted a topless mirror selfie in which she looks extremely thin along with the caption that read: “ED [eating disorder] ask for help.”
Apparently, it triggered some fans and now the star is apologizing for her move which many labeled “insensitive.” “I am very sorry for posting a photo of myself depicting my struggle with ED without a sufficient trigger warning. I was very nervous to post it and didn’t think properly. I had positive intentions. I would never want to harm someone who shares my struggle,” she wrote on Twitter. The 26-year-old added:
“with that being said im gonna log off now because this has turned into something I am not emotionally equipped to handle for the time being. I hope that’s okay.”
Halsey is known, for being open about her health. Just last year, she opened up about mental health and living with bipolar disorder.
