Sharon Stone On Being A Sex Symbol At 62: ‘People Sill Want To See My Boobs’
In a recent interview, ‘Basic Instinct‘ actress Sharon Stone says she’s still a sex symbol at 62, adding that “People still want to see my boobs.”
In response to the crazy fan requests, Stone says, “I’m 62! It’s like, ‘Really? Grow up!'” Throwing her hands up, she adds, “But also … Here’s some boobs!” Reflecting on why she believes fans are still so enthralled in her anatomy, she continues, “I mean, I never thought I was that sexy. When I did ‘Basic Instinct,’ I explored my dark side and made friends with my dark side. I got to not be afraid of my own self. I think people find that sexy.”

While noting that no matter how hard she tries to ditch the sex symbol association by taking on more serious roles (like in Alpha Dog and Catwoman), Stone says, “It’s difficult, because everybody expects you to be that all the time. It was very difficult for Marilyn Monroe. She did movies that really mattered, like ‘Bus Stop,’ ‘The Misfits,’ but she still couldn’t get completely out of being that thing. It’s very hard to shake.”
