Sharon Osbourne To Receive Up To $10M Payout Following Exit From ‘The Talk’

As we previously reported, former host Sharon Osbourne has exited ‘The Talk,’ and was expecting a payout if let go. It’s now been learned that following her controversial departure, Osbourne is set to receive one of up to $10 million.

Amid allegations of racist behavior (involving co-host Sheryl Underwood, plus Holly Robinson Peete and Julie Chen) and an on-going investigation by CBS and producers of the show, Osbourne quit last week. Now a source reveals, “Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show].”

Another source says that under Osbourne’s departure agreement, she not only is walking away with a big bag, but is also permitted to speak on any and everything revolving around the show and her departure. They state, “Sharon will talk when she is ready. She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”
