The co-host has hired lawyer Jeremiah Reynolds to oversee her negotiations with CBS after she was accused of being a racist and creating an “insensitive and hostile” environment as reported by Page Six. A source close to the network told the outlet that Osbourne wasted “no time” to hire lawyers and Reynolds has a powerful reputation within the business.

Osbourne is expecting to be fired from the network but she wants a huge cut for her departure. “The network will have to pay her a sizeable settlement to keep her quiet after this. She could write a book, she would do a world of interviews. She knows where all the bodies are buried,” said another close source. The Talk has been on hiatus for two weeks due to the investigation and heated exchange between Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

As we previously reported, Osbourne has faced backlash after she defended her friend Piers Morgan after he slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s revealing interview with Oprah. Holly Robinson Peete also noted a moment when Osbourne complained to producers that she was “too ghetto” during the first season of the show back in 2010.

Osbourne has issued an apology for her comments and said, “To anyone of color that I offended and/or to anyone that feels confused or let down by what I said, I am truly sorry.”
