On Friday. Jacob Blake,29, accepted a plea deal for a sexual assault case against him and pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Court documents revealed that prosecutors dropped the felony third-degree sexual assault charge and a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge, and he accepted the disorderly conduct charge.
The sexual assault charge was dropped after it was revealed that the victim did not comply with prosecutors. Judge Bruce Schroeder sentenced Blake to two years of probation and Blake said during the Zoom hearing that he accepted the plea deal so he could spend more time with his children.
‘Honestly, your honor, although I pled guilty to this, I don’t consider myself to be guilty, I pretty much took this opportunity to get to see my children quicker.’
