“Sex And the City” & ”Hunger Games” Star Lynn Cohen Dies At 86

Socialites, we have some unfortunate news to share. The Hollywood world has lost another star. According to Page Six, actress Lynn Cohen has sadly passed away at the age of 86, her rep confirmed.

As of right now, the cause of death for the actress has not been shared just yet. However, it was said that Cohen passed away in New York on Friday which was Valentine’s Day. The veteran screen and stage actress was best known for her role on “Sex and the City.” Her character Magda was a housekeeper and a nanny by the character Miranda Hobbes, played by Cynthia Nixon.

She was also known for her role as Mags in the “Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” Fellow actress Sarah Jessica Parker took to social media to pay tribute to her former co-star and good friend. She said,

“Beautiful Lynn Cohen. Miranda’s dear and necessary Magda,” Sarah, who famously starred as Carrie Bradshaw on the series, captioned a photo of Cohen. “Our dear SATC colleague. Talent, grace, inspiration. RIP X, SJ” Actor Willie Garson, who played Carrie’s BFF Stanford, also commented, “❤️❤️😢😢❤️❤️”

There were more celebrities who reacted to the death of the beloved star. “Watch What Happens Live” host, Andy Cohen, also shared his thoughts. “Nooooooooo!!!! I love Lynn Cohen!!! She did St. Louis proud…. RIP andy,” he said.

Lynn Cohen will be missed.
