Unfortunately, mass shootings in the world continue to take place. As we previously reported, one of the latest shootings we shared was in November when 10 people were killed at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia. Around 10:20 p.m., a store manager opened fire and shot several employees off Battlefield Boulevard. The Daily Beast claims that one of the workers, Kevin Harper, went on Facebook Live following the shooting and claimed that he narrowly escaped the gunfire, which allegedly occurred in a break room. The Chesapeake Police Department said in a statement that they arrived at the scene to find several injuries and fatalities and that they thought the shooter acted alone. The manager shot himself shortly after the shooting.
