‘Seinfeld’ Actor And Comedian, Jerry Stiller Dies At 92

We have some unfortunate news to share this Monday morning. The Hollywood world has lost yet another star. Jerry Stiller, the beloved comedy legend who starred in “Seinfeld” and “The King of Queens,” has died.

The star’s son Ben Stiller announced the news earlier today. Ben tweeted, “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”

Jerry Stiller was a multi-talented performer who appeared in a number of movies, playing Walter Matthau’s police sidekick in the thriller “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three” and Divine’s husband, Wilbur Turnblad in John Waters’ twisted comedy “Hairspray.” Aside from this, he was most known for his roles in the popular sitcoms. He earned an Emmy nomination back in 1997 for his indelible “Seinfeld” performance. Though known as a comedian, Stiller was also a serious dramatic actor with a long history on Broadway.

In addition to his son, Ben Stiller, Jerry Stiller is survived by his daughter, actress Amy Stiller, and two grandchildren, the Los Angeles Times reported.

He was 92. Jerry Stiller will he missed.
