Ruth Bader Ginsburg Released From Hospital And Is Reportedly “Doing Well”

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for a possible infection.

According to CNN, the Supreme Court Justice is reportedly doing well after she was discharged from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. On Tuesday,  spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said in a statement that Ginsburg was transported to the hospital to clean out a bile duct stent and received intravenous antibiotic treatment.

“She underwent an endoscopic procedure at Johns Hopkins this afternoon to clean out a bile duct stent that was placed last August/ The Justice is resting comfortably and will stay in the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment.”

The 87-year-old justice has had her fair share of health issues in the past but she continues to fulfill her position in the Supreme Court. President Donald Trump also sent his well wishes to Ginsburg.

“I wish her the best. I hope she’s better. I didn’t hear that, actually. She was just hospitalized? No, that’s too bad. No, I wish her the best. She’s actually giving me some good rulings.”
