Rose McGowan Accuses Director Alexander Payne Of Sexual Misconduct: ‘I Was 15’
Harvey Weinstein accuser and ‘Charmed‘ actress Rose McGowan is accusing director Alexander Payne of sexual misconduct in an incident that took place when she was 15 years old.
Taking to her Twitter, the actress posted a gif of herself with emblazoned, red capital letters “NO,” and captioned it, “Alexander Payne. You sat me down & played a soft-core porn movie you directed for Showtime under a different name. I still remember your apartment in Silverlake. You are very well-endowed. You left me on a street corner afterwards. I was 15.”

In a follow-up tweet, she posted a headshot of herself at age 15, captioning the post, “I just want an acknowledgement and an apology. I do not want to destroy. This was me at 15.” McGowan doesn’t move into further details about the alleged incident with Payne, who would’ve been 27 at the time. Payne, who is a two-time Oscar winner for ‘The Descendants‘ and ‘Sideways,’ and the ex-husband of ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ actress Sandra Oh, has yet to publicly address the allegation of sexual misconduct.
