Robber Pulls Off Casino Heist Wearing A Prosthetic Face Mask

The FBI has arrested a Michigan man who used aprosthetic face mask to carry out several casino heists.

Based on their report, John Christopher Colletti,55, is said to have used multiple identities in order to steal over $100,000 from several casinos and withdrew the money from his victims’ bank accounts through kiosks since April 2019. The heist was first spotted by investigators at the MGM Grand Casino and said 10 people became victims of Colletti’s scheme. Surveillance footage shows Colletti wearing prosthetic masks, hats, and glasses to give the appearance of an elderly man as reported by Fox 2 Detroit.

After obtaining a search warrant, FBI agents discovered four prosthetic masks, cell phones, flash drives, counterfeit bills, and books about carrying out crimes without getting caught. They also discovered 83 driver’s licenses, 14 insurance cards, and six water diver certification cards.

Investigators have tracked Colletti in Kansas after receiving information about several cases of fraud at MGM Casino. He is currently being held on bond and is awaiting to be transported back to Michigan.
