Rihanna Tells Fans She’s “Trying To Save The World” After Being Asked About New Music

Rihanna addressed her fans yesterday after she was asked about when she was releasing new music via Instagram Live.

According to Page Six, fans were excited to see Rihanna via Instagram Live yesterday and asked her when she is planning to release the anticipated fan titled album R9. However, Rihanna stated that she has bigger issues to focus on and music would have to wait due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“If one of y’all motherf–kers ask me about the album one more time when I’m tryna save the world, unlike y’all president….on sight!’

Earlier this month, The Clara Lionel foundation donated $5 million to coronavirus relief and pledged another $1 million with Jay-Z’s The Shawn Carter Foundation to help provide relief to Los Angeles and New York. Rihanna also teamed up with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to help victims of domestic violence who are dealing with the pandemic.

Back in December, Rihanna teased her fans about #R9 in an Instagram post with the caption: “Update me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it.”
