Rihanna Allegedly Kept Relationship With Travis Scott Private Because She Was ‘Embarrassed’
While rumors have circulated of Travis Scott and Rihanna previously dating, it looks like the relationship was very much real, but only kept private because the Bajan singer was allegedly”embarrassed,” to admit she was dating the Houston rapper.
As of lately, Travis has been linked to Kylie Jenner, however, in 2015 the “Sicko Mode” rapper and Rih sparked rumors after meeting two years prior to work on her song, “B*tch Better Have My Money.” After collaborating, the two were spotted together on numerous occasions in New York City, with their PDA fueling the rumors. During this time, Travis interviewed with Complex writer Lawrence Schlossman, who spilled the beans in the 2015 cover story.

Fast-forward to 2020, on his Throwing Fits podcast, Schlossman reveals that Travis had beef with the outlet after they published the intimate details he asked them not to share — claiming, Rihanna would be embarrassed. Schlossman revealed, “It’s not because he’s like, ‘Don’t tell anyone I’m smashing Rihanna.’ It’s because Rihanna’s like, ‘Don’t tell anyone that I’m smashing Travis Scott, please.’ [It’s] obviously embarrassing as f**k.”
Recalling all that happened, Schlossman says, “I broke the news about him and Rihanna, which they told me not to do. Apparently, what [Complex editor Joe] La Puma, our boy Joe La Puma, told me was that it hurt Complex’s relationship with Travis. This was in 2015, 16, I wrote this. But apparently, for the next couple of years, he would complain about that.”
Although Schlossman alleges that this is the case of Travis and Rih’s private relationship, neither of the two have addressed the allegations.
