According to several Spanish outlets operating in Puerto Rico, Ricky Martin has allegedly been hit with a domestic violence restraining order — and it reportedly wasn’t by his husband. They also say he has yet to be located to be served.
Ricky Martin Allegedly Hit With Domestic Violence Restraining Order In Puerto Rico
Allegedly the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer has been accused of domestic violence on the island of PR and according to several reports, the alleged victim is NOT his husband of 5 years, Jwan Yosef. The couple also share four children together.
On Saturday (July 2). sites like Telemundo and more reported that a protective order was in the process of being filed and served to the Puerto Rican pop star in an upscale neighborhood in the north coastal town of Dorado, a municipality near San Juan. However, as of Saturday, cops have yet to locate him and serve him.
The law enforcement officials claim the complaint, which was signed on Friday (July 1), falls within their Law 54 statute, which pertains to domestic violence.

Per the multiple reports online, an anonymous person recently appeared before a judge and sought out a temporary restraining order. It’s reported that the unnamed person did not go to the police first and the order was apparently granted based upon evidence they presented directly to the judge.
It is reported that a court date is scheduled and a hearing regarding the matter between the anonymous person and the pop star is set for July 21.
Additionally, some reports are claiming that the alleged victim is a male, while others claim it is a female.

Ricky Martin Allegedly Hit With Domestic Violence Restraining Order By Someone Other Than His Husband
However, one outlet, called El Vocero, claims they have obtained documentation and read in part: “The parties were related for 7 months. They separated 2 months ago, but the petitioner does not accept the separation. He calls him frequently. In addition, the petitioner has seen him hanging around his residence on at least 3 occasions. The petitioner fears for his safety.”
Now that does not seem to sound like Martin’s husband. But, the order apparently went on to claim that “the petitioning party demonstrated that there is a substantial possibility of immediate risk of abuse.”
Subsequent to the alleged granted order, Martin has been ordered to keep his distance and stay far from the alleged victim, including any and all communication.
As mentioned, reports claim that local authorities have not yet found nor served Martin with the alleged restraining order. They visited his home near Dorado, but he has several other residences on the island and elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Martin is also facing a lawsuit by his ex-manager Rebecca Drucker, who just days ago claimed to possess “career-ending allegations” that she allegedly helped protect him from.

UPDATE: Ricky Martin Reps Say Domestic Violence Restraining Order Allegations Are ‘Completely False’
According to PEOPLE, representatives for Ricky Martin claim the recent allegations of him being hit with a domestic violence restraining order is “completely false and fabricated.”
They wholly said, “The allegations against Ricky Martin that lead to a protection order are completely false and fabricated. We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.”
