After posting a $100,000 bail in last month’s arrest, the Burbank Police Department has re-arrested 38-year-old Calese Carron Crowder — a registered sex offender also known as the alleged serial “butt sniffer” — for allegedly sniffing a woman’s behind at Walgreens.

We first reported on Crowder back in August 2023. At the time, the California man, who was on probation for peeping on children, was arrested by police for failing to register as a sex offender. Before his arrest, he had just gone viral after a woman caught him on camera “sniffing” her butt at a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Shortly after his arrest, he was released from jail.

As of August 2023, online jail records showed that Crowder had reportedly been arrested in Los Angeles County at least 42 times and has continuously been released. His slew of arrests, reportedly dating back to 2005, ranged from sex offenses to robbery and burglary convictions.

Alleged Serial ‘Butt Sniffer’ Re-Arrested, Finally Held Without Bail, After Allegedly Sniffing Woman’s Butt At Burbank Walgreens

Last month, we again reported on the alleged serial “butt sniffer.” Police again arrested Crowder for allegedly sniffing another woman’s butt at another store. Cops responded to a “lewd behavior” call at a Nordstrom Rack on North Victory Place in Burbank.

Police said they received a call about a man loitering in the women’s department. When the authorities arrived, the alleged serial “butt sniffer” already fled the scene.

However, security guards led them to a nearby Walmart at the Burbank Empire Center. Police said surveillance footage at the shopping plaza reportedly showed Crowder following another woman around. At one point, police alleged he bent down and sniffed her butt.

Subsequently, police immediately arrested the alleged serial “butt sniffer.” However, Crowder, who is on active parole, was released on bail set at $100,000. In that case, prosecutors filed one count of loitering with intent to commit a crime. At the time, police noted that Crowder has a documented history of similar arrests in Glendale and Burbank dating back to 2021.

Since last month’s arrest and release, Crowder is back behind bars, according to KTLA. On Wednesday evening (August 20), police arrested him for allegedly sniffing another woman’s butt, this time at a Walgreens in Burbank. According to police online records, Crowder is being held without any bail this time.
