“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards revealed on Instagram that she had been hospitalized after she accidentally walked into a beehive.

Richards told fans through her Instagram stories that she was rushed to a nearby hospital and revealed she was allergic to their bee stings. She posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed and wrote” So this happened yesterday… I walked into a hive of bees and was stung multiple times. If you know me, I am allergic to bees and terrified of them.”
Richards also posted the security footage when she accidentally walked into the hive and was chased by the swarm of bees with her three dogs. Moments later, she jumped into her pool to evade getting stung again by the angry insects.

She added that she wanted to tell her fans about the situation because it taught her a valuable lesson about having her epi-pen on hand at all times.
“I share this story with you because sometimes I don’t bother to take my epi-pen with me. I also don’t know why I couldn’t get mine to work. It’s important to look on Youtube and watch the videos of how to use it. There are different types of epi-pens and they each work differently. But also always call 911 even if you are able to use your epi-pen as they have other medications to help breathing etc.”
She also thanked Encino Hospital Center staff and the Los Angeles Fire Department for helping out and bringing her back to health.
