Awe! Ray J reminisces about his failed marriage to estranged wife Princess Love, but also optimistically looks forward toward his future as he sings his hit “One Wish.”

On Saturday (July 19), Amber Rose posted videos of her “superstar bestie” Ray J performing his 2005 classic “One Wish.”
Before belting out his fan-favorite track, Ray J spoke over the beat and shared a message with his fans at the venue. He said, “Unfortunately, me and my wife did’t make it. So, I’m looking for somebody new. I’m looking for myself. So, this song makes sense right now. Check it out.”

Ray J And Princess Love’s Relationship Timeline
According to reports, Ray and Princess first met at a New Year’s Eve party in 2012. At the time, Princess was dating boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, Jr. After splitting from The Champ, Princess officially began dating Ray in 2013.
Ray quickly fell head over heels in love with Princess. He even ended up proposing to her twice. The first time, he simply gave her a ring, without properly popping the question. A few months later, he pulled off an extravagant proposal with a “big rock.”

By August 2016, the two were married. In May 2018, the couple welcomed their daughter, Melody Love Norwood, now 7. In December 2019, they welcomed their son, Epik Ray Norwood, now 5. Sadly, the couple’s marriage did not last.
They have since filed for divorce four times. Princess first filed in May 2020 and dismissed the claim two months later. But in September 2020, Ray J chose to file for divorce. Then, in February 2021, two mutually requested that filing to be dismissed.
By October 2021, Ray J filed for divorce from his wife again. But, in March 2023, they called it off. The couple’s divorce was back on for a fourth time as Princess filed in February 2024.
A month after Princess filed for divorce a fourth time, Ray J said the two were “good.” During an interview on the ‘The Breakfast Club‘, Ray addressed the public’s curiosity about their relationship status. He said that he and Princess are “good”, despite the latest divorce filing.
