Rapper Lil Yase was shot and killed early Saturday morning under mysterious circumstances.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old’s body was found in the southern section of the East Bay, hours after he was last seen at a recording studio in Marin County. Sources close to the rapper said he left the area alone and told his friends he was coming back. An hour after he left, the group was told that Lil Yase had been shot and the situation has left his close friends and family questioning the circumstances leading up to his death.
He had no known enemies and there were no prior activities that would play a role in his death. On his Instagram page, his last post reads, “If my n**** trippin den I’m trippin it’s up wit UNK😤😈 #HappyThanksGivin🦃”
