Rapper Lil Marlo Fatally Shot In Atlanta

The music world has lost another star. According to TMZ, rapper Lil Marlo was gunned down in Atlanta on Saturday.

Law enforcement told the news site that they responded to a call of a car accident on Interstate 285 in downtown ATL, but when police arrived they found the rapper had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” an official told TMZ.

Rudolph Johnson — who was signed to Quality Control — took to social media to remember the rapper: “We just did a song a 4 this morning smh rip brother,” Lil Yachty said. City Girls’ rapper JT also tweeted, “Rest In Peace Marlo……damn💔”

Marlo joined Quality Control in 2017. He was featured on “The Load” with Lil Baby and Gucci Mane. Sadly, Marlo leaves behind a daughter and a son. He was just 30 years old.
