Rapper Freddie Gibbs Believes Jussie Smollett Belongs In The Slammer For Allegedly Faking Hate Crime: “Just Like Bi***** Who Fake Rape”
Freddie Gibbs is the latest celebrity to weigh in on Jussie Smollett’s jail time over his hoax case.

As we previously reported, the “Empire” actor was sentenced to 5 months following his conviction for lying to police about being the victim of a hoax hate crime in 2019. While his supporters and good friends like Taraji P. Henson believe that Jussie is innocent and should be free, the rapper thinks Jussie is right where he belongs.
While speaking with @tmz_tv, Freddie said Jussie should be in jail just like anyone who fakes being the victim of a crime. Freddie also thinks 5 months isn’t enough and says Jussie should’ve gotten at least 3 or more years behind bars: “Free Juicy Smollet in 5 years,” Freddie told TMZ.
Aside from this, Jussie Smollett’s lawyers are demanding his release from jail while his appeal plays out claiming he risks being harmed physically and mentally every second he stays behind bars. Jussie’s lawyers argue that being held in protective custody which they say is like solitary confinement, will make his mental health deteriorate.
Smollett’s family is also asking for immediate release.
