Rah Ali is speaking publicly about her falling-out with Nicki Minaj, accusing the rapper and former friend of more than a decade of intentionally trying to damage her reputation.

In a video posted to Instagram Tuesday, October 27, Ali said she had remained loyal, honest, and trustworthy throughout their friendship. She claimed she had done nothing to justify what she described as Minaj’s alleged treatment of her.

“I have been loyal, I’ve been honest, I’ve been trustworthy,” Ali said. “I have not done anything at all to her. However, there comes a point where you have to say enough is enough… and that’s where I am.”

Ali continued by accusing Minaj of trying to control her and undermine her independence.

“Where I am today is, I’m not gonna sit back and allow someone to intentionally try to destroy me, simply because I won’t allow them to be a puppet master,” she said.

The alleged dispute has reportedly centered on claims that Ali stole $30 million from Minaj. OnSite! Media, a platform owned by Ali, reported that Minaj allegedly instructed a YouTuber to spread the accusation. Ali later addressed the claim in an open letter to Minaj shared on X Thursday, October 29. In the letter, she said the accusation was especially painful because it allegedly came from someone she had known and supported for years.

“You’ve empowered and given license to others to spread deplorable lies about me, smearing my character and throwing away the friendship,” Ali wrote. “To be lied on by someone you don’t know is one thing; for it to come from you is unimaginable.”

Ali also argued that the alleged statements placed her and her loved ones at risk.

“You have put me and so many people who care for you and have rooted for you at risk,” she wrote.

She challenged Minaj to either produce evidence proving the accusation or apologize publicly. Ali said she had initially been advised to ignore the allegations, but decided to respond after she and her family allegedly received death threats from Minaj’s fans.

According to Ali, the online hostility has continued and could escalate if the dispute remains unresolved. She believes Minaj’s supporters may continue directing abusive messages toward her and her family until the alleged $30 million accusation is addressed.

The disagreement marks a dramatic breakdown between two women who were once close friends. Ali had been associated with Minaj for years and was often seen supporting the rapper publicly and attending major events connected to her career.

Ali has now made clear that she no longer intends to remain silent. She said her decision to speak out was not motivated by a desire to create drama but by what she described as the need to defend her name and protect her family.

Minaj has not publicly responded to Ali’s accusations. The claims have not been independently verified, and no evidence supporting or disproving the alleged $30 million accusation has been made public.
