The estranged mother of Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas is speaking out amid his heart attack hospitalization.

As we previously shared on Friday (August 21), P was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. At the time, details were limited. However, Hollywood Unlocked was able to confirm that the Hip-Hop mogul was alive and recovering and not dead as many other reports claimed.
In TMZ‘s report, we learned that P was receiving care in the ICU of a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly after the news broke, the Instagram account of Quality Control music label released a statement. It read:
“We want to clarify that Pierre ‘P’ Thomas is alive and currently hospitalized receiving medical care. We ask that everyone keep P and his family in their thoughts and prayers and respectfully give them the privacy and space they need during this time. We deeply appreciate everyone’s concern, support, prayers, and loving energy right now.”
On Saturday (August 22), video surfaced of P’s estranged mother Lisa Thomas speaking out to slam reports claiming her son had died. In her video, she also alleged “somebody did this to him.” She also confirmed she was with him and praying over him, despite their rocky relationship.
In the video, Lisa said:
“I’m up here on the 23rd floor in Vegas, where my son is. Let me straighten y’all all out. First of all, my son is not dead. No matter what my son has done to me. No matter what he’s done to you. He’s still my child. Ok? Now, somebody did this to him. And I know it because there’s neurologically no reason. Pierre is alive. Is he well? No. But, don’t count nobody out. You know, this happened for a reason. Billy badasses. ‘Cause my son is a Billy badass. Yeah. See, the thing about life, we reap what we sow in this life. So, me I’m a child of God. So, it don’t matter what you did to me. I can’t just walk away from my child like that and he’s incapacitated. But, cut the lie. Cut the lie. ‘Cause I’m the one you don’t want. Cut the lie. My son is not dead. I don’t know who gave TMZ that story, but cut the lie. He’s healing. He’s recovering. Yes, and I’m here. He’s raising up like Lazurus. Ok? Cut the lie, baby.”
P notably co-founded Quality Control music with Kevin “Coach K” Lee in 2013. They are responsible for helping build the careers of Migos (Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff), Lil Baby, City Girls (JT and Yung Miami), and many more.
