Police spoke with two individuals who were present at the home during the time and they reportedly told officers that they were visiting the home and they were enjoying themselves in the pool for about two hours and then hopped out of the pool to go order some pizza. While they were inside the home ordering the food they “hung out for awhile and then went backstairs,” according to the report. Once they got back downstairs they they saw something inside the pool but thought it was doll inside. Once the two men realized it was a child they quickly pulled her out of the water and contacted authorities. Officers later identified the child as the daughter of Tamica Webb from Memphis, Tenn. She was identified on the police report as Aryanna Rice.
The police report has Rice’s name listed as the owner of the Marietta home, but Webb took to her Instagram and posted photos of the child who drowned. “You absolutely stole my heart from the moment I saw you. Ari you’re so special to me and I’m grateful to be a part of your life! I got you forever!!!”
The police report lists the drowning as a tragic accident. Webb has not commented on the child’s death or said what her exact relationship is to the child.
