Prince William Feels ‘Sad & Shocked’ As Prince Harry ‘Disrespectfully’ Exits The Royal Family
As we previously reported, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were set to be stripped of all their royal privileges ahead of their “tell-all” with Oprah Winfrey. However, one-upping the Royal Family, the couple officially resigned — and now Harry’s brother, Prince William is reportedly feeling “sad and shocked” at how Harry “disrespectfully” exited.
Per Page Six, Sources close to William say he’s “really sad and genuinely shocked” by Harry’s choice to be “insulting and disrespectful” toward their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Sources add that The Duke of Cambridge was “very upset” by Harry and Meghan’s reply to Queen Elizabeth’s announcement of them officially stepping down from their royal duties.
While one insider called their grandiose move “petulant and insulting to the Queen,” adding, “Don’t disrespect your granny, Harry” — another agreed and said, “You don’t answer the Queen back — it’s just not done.” Sources say other members of the Royal Family were “stunned” by the exiting couple’s tone of their reply.
An Aide said, “Once he got over the anger of how things happened, he was left with the absence of his brother. They had shared everything about their lives. He’ll miss it forever.” Meanwhile, on of William’s friend said, “[He] definitely feels the pressure now it’s all on him. His future looks different because of his brother’s choices — it’s not easy.”
