President Trump said in a statement that he might waive student loan payments during a White House briefing earlier today.
According to the Daily Mail, President Trump responded instantly to whether he would waive student loan debt payments during a White House coronavirus briefing. He said “Previously, student loan payments have been waived for 6 months, and we’ll discuss it after that. May go further.'”

The response came after Joe Biden penned in an article with Medium discussing his plans to expand Medicare eligibility and forgiving student loan debt.
“I’ve also directed my team to develop a plan to forgive federal student debt relating to the cost of tuition currently held by low-income and middle-class people for undergraduate public colleges and universities,”

Yesterday, President Trump welcomed Bernie Sander’s supporters with open arms on Twitter after it was announced that Sanders ended his presidential campaign.
“Bernie Sanders is OUT! Thank you to Elizabeth Warren. If not for her, Bernie would have won almost every state on Super Tuesday! This ended just like the Democrats & the DNC wanted, same as the Crooked Hillary fiasco. The Bernie people should come to the Republican Party, TRADE!”
