Jeremy Renner is reportedly in critical but stable condition at a hospital in Lake Tahoe following an accident.
According to Deadline, the Oscar-nominated actor was injured while plowing snow. The site reported that Renner, who starred in Marvel’s “Hawkeye” series, “The Hurt Locker” along with other films, had been airlifted on Sunday to a hospital.
As of right now, the circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear but police described it as a “weather-related” incident involving a snow plow. Meanwhile, a spokesperson said his family is with him now and he’s currently “receiving excellent care.”
“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” a spokesman said in a statement.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Kristin Vietti added: “Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital.”

It was noted that the 51-year-old owns a mansion in Lake Tahoe. It was said that his home is in a secluded mountainous area. Jeremy has previously shared pictures of the rough weather. In 2017, he even posted an Instagram picture of him having to clear away the snow to gain access to the property. Renner also tweeted about the huge amount of snow at his US ranch back in December, writing: “Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke.”
