Pop Smoke‘s Family Taking Him Back To Brooklyn For Private Gathering

According to TMZ, close sources tell the news site that the family will be transporting his body back to New York soon. From there, his loved ones will be gathering this weekend for a private prayer and grief service. It was noted that this event is not his final memorial service or burial. That will be held at a later date, TMZ reports.
As we previously reported, Pop, who was on the rise was shot and killed Wednesday morning at his Hollywood Hills home. Initially, it appeared to be a home invasion but surveillance video suggests his murder was a target hit and not a robbery gone wrong. As of right now, cops have not caught the person responsible for this crime. However, it was said that Pop’s family has been heavily involved in the investigation process as they’re desperately seeking for answers.
In the meantime, people have been trying to remain strong as Pop’s death comes right after the tragic helicopter California crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others.
