A scammer in Frankfurt, Germany whose bitcoin was seized by police officers is refusing to give them access after they asked for his password.

Prosecutors reported that the man has served his time in jail and police have continued multiple failed attempts to access a digital wallet containing the $60 million in bitcoin. The unidentified fraudster served two years in jail for installing software on other computers to use their power to produce more bitcoin as reported by Reuters.
During his time in jail, the price of Bitcoin was worth less than half of its current value. As of today, the current rate for Bitcoin is $42,000 after it skyrocketed in January.

A similar incident happened in the country last month after a man $200 million in bitcoin because he lost the password to his digital wallet.
