Plane Passenger Tried To Smuggle Gold By Stuffing Them In His Rectum
Trying to smuggle drugs through an airpot is one thing, but imagine stuff bug gold nuggest in your rectum!
The NY Post reports that Indian airport officials apprehended a man who they noticed walking strangely. Upon insoection, they disocvered that he had about two pounds of gold up his butt.
The passenger traveled from Dubai to Kerala’s Kannur Airport, and did not want to pay the tax on his gold nuggets. Officials had to extract the gold from his derriere, which was reportedly worth $60,000.
Commissionerate of Customs (Preventive), Cochin tweeted, “@ccphqrskochi AIU Kannur seized 1470gm gold in compound form (1316 gm extracted) from a passenger who arrived from Dubai by flight G8 4013.”
Thi has been the seventh attempt at smuggling gold or foreign currencies into India!
