Piers Morgan is defending Sharon Osbourne after she decided to depart from “The Talk” after accusations of racism and creating a hostile work environment on set.

The former ‘Good Morning Britain’ host called CBS “disgrace”, claiming that they bullied Sharon Osbourne to quit her job in an Instagram post. It reads, ‘What’s happened to @sharonosbourne is an absolute disgrace that shames CBS. Bullied out of her job for defending me against an invented slur of racism because I don’t believe a liar. In tomorrow’s Mail on Sunday, I’ll tell MY truth about this woke cancel culture bulls*t.’ Osbourne’s departure stems from a heated debate in the aftermath of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah. During the debate with former co-host Sheryl Underwood, Osbourne defended Morgan’s stance on the former Royal members’ interview.
Osbourne announced her exit from the show on Friday, a few days after she hired a legal team to discuss the internal investigation conducted by CBS. She also asked for a payout if the station decided to fire her.

CBS said in a statement,’ Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk. The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace,’
Osbourne has also apologized for her actions on the show and said she has shown support for POC communities.
