After watching the WAP video, thousands of fans criticized Kylie Jenner’s appearance in the video and created a petition to have her completely removed.

Among the video cameos of Sukihana, Mulatto, Normani, and Rosalia in Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP, fans were disappointed when Kylie Jenner made her appearance in the 4-minute clip. In response, they created a petition on Change.org to have Jenner completely removed from the video, stating “The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone.”

Several comments stated their reasons why they wanted the 22-year-old makeup mogul removed. One comment said, “She is a culture vulture who doesn’t remember how her own complexion looks! down with the culture vultures!!!” Other fans on social media started creating their own versions of the video by editing out Jenner’s appearance completely.

However, Cardi B went on Twitter to explain why she wanted Kylie Jenner in the video after fans expressed their disappointment. She tweeted “I wanna say thank you to every woman that was apart of my video! The fact that you made time in your schedules means a lot to me! It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential.”
