NYPD Officers Responding To Shooting Gun Down Suspect Outside Of Brooklyn Apartment Complex
Footage has emerged of NYPD officers responding to a shooting outside of a Brooklyn apartment complex, and gunning down the suspect involved.
Officers say they were responding to a call of shots fired at Rochester Ave and Dean St. in Crown Heights. Upon their arrival, they saw a wounded man, and the discovered the gunman hiding behind a fence near the Kingsborough Houses complex.
While it’s unclear if the man provoked of opened fire first at the officers, the next thing heard in the video are rounds after rounds, and the people behind the camera screaming in shock. Upon recovering an illegal gun at the scene, FDNY officials say five people, three civilians and two police officers were taken to local hospitals. An investigation is underway.
