On Sunday (August 23), just over two weeks after his ex-fiancée Erica Raven, 23, announced their split, NLE Choppa, 23, shared a prayer with his followers, speaking on marriage, unions, and relationships of all kinds.
Choppa’s prayer not only spoke on marriage in the sense of a romantic union, but also any union or relationship between two people or more — be it siblings, parents and children, sports teammates, etc.
While Choppa addressed all relationship types, his prayer did mention how “hard” marriage is and the prayer arrives just over two weeks after his ex-fiancée Erica Raven announced their split.
As we previously shared, Erica took to her Instagram on August 6 to reveal she and Choppa were no longer engaged. The two first made headlines back in October 2025 and by Christmas 2025, they were engaged.
Choppa proposed over the holiday, sharing moments from the cute proposal on Instagram on December 26, 2025. But after less than a year together and engaged, the two split, presumably some time in July. In her video, Erica said it had been “a very rough there weeks.”
NLE Choppa Shares Prayer About Marriage Weeks After Ex-Fiancée Erica Raven Announced Split
Since Erica’s video, Choppa has remained silent on their split, instead focusing on releasing new music — and also clearing his name against his second child’s mother, Marissa Da’Nae, and her “deadbeat dad” claims.
However, today, NLE Choppa briefly touched on his feelings about marriage. During his 4-minute prayer, he prayed for “those who are going though struggles in their companionship.” He said no matter who the union or relationship was between, he “prayed for strength” and asked God to “continue guiding the hearts” of those he prayed over. Choppa continued to praise and thank God. He then said:
“Marriage is one of the hardest things to do in the world…in the world. And we come to you today to help us restore it. In a manner like never before… We pray that you can spark something in our personal mind that simply just brings us closer together. Through the adversity, though the thick, through the thin, unconditionally loving your partner. Through the good, through the bad. Through the rain, through the storm, through the sleet, through the snow. We just ask for perseverance within our marriage.”
