Nipsey Hussle To Posthumously Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
It’s official! Los Angeles native and late rapper Nipsey Hussle is set to posthumously receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hussle is among the list of 38 new honorees who have been included in the Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2022 announced on Thursday (June 17).
Hussle, who was shot to death in March 2019 at age 33, was the only person who was selected posthumously. In addition to his new star on the way, the rapper’s legacy lives on through his music and via his Marathon Clothing Store — which has since partnered with Puma .

Other stars include: Black Eyed Peas, Ashanti Douglas, DJ Khaled, Avril Lavigne, Macaulay Culkin, Michael Strahan, Ricky Gervais, Salma Hayek, Michael B. Jordan, Regina King, Ray Liotta, Ewan McGregor, Adam McKay, Jason Momoa, Tracee Ellis Ross, Holly Robinson-Peete, Carrie Fisher (posthumous), Kenan Thompson, and Tessa Thompson.
